Draft for legal review

This document is templated, best-effort copy provided for launch and has not yet undergone formal legal review. Sections still requiring attorney sign-off are marked [LEGAL REVIEW NEEDED] below.

Whitestone Health is committed to making mywhitestone.com accessible to as many people as possible, including people who use assistive technologies. We are working to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA.

Measures we take

  • Semantic HTML with landmark regions and a “Skip to main content” link.
  • Keyboard navigation for interactive elements, with visible focus indicators.
  • Respect for the operating-system “reduce motion” preference: animations, auto-scrolling carousels, and decorative motion are stilled for users who request reduced motion.
  • Text-color contrast checked against WCAG AA thresholds for body and interactive text.
  • Descriptive alternative text for meaningful images; decorative images are hidden from assistive technology.

Conformance status

We consider the Site to be partially conformantwith WCAG 2.1 Level AA. “Partially conformant” means some parts of the content may not yet fully meet the standard. We continue to test and improve.

[LEGAL REVIEW NEEDED] Confirm the conformance claim and date after a formal audit (automated plus manual screen-reader and keyboard testing). Adjust “partially conformant” vs “conformant” to match the audit result, and confirm whether a formal Accessibility Conformance Report (ACR/VPAT) is desired.

Known limitations

Some embedded third-party content (for example, maps and video players) and some richly animated sections may have residual accessibility limitations that are outside our full control or are still being refined. We welcome reports so we can prioritize fixes.

[LEGAL REVIEW NEEDED] Finalize the known-limitations list against the formal audit findings, including any third-party embeds (Google Maps, YouTube, booking widget) and any decorative animation sections that fall short.

Feedback and contact

If you encounter an accessibility barrier on the Site, or need information in an alternative format, please contact us and we will work to provide the information or service you need.

[LEGAL REVIEW NEEDED] Add the dedicated accessibility-feedback contact (email and phone) and a target response time, and confirm any ADA-related disclosures the client’s counsel wants included.

Ongoing effort

Accessibility is an ongoing effort. We review the Site as we add features and content, and we update this statement as our conformance status changes.
