Understanding Upper Cervical Care
NUCCA, the National Upper Cervical Chiropractic Association technique, is a highly specialized form of chiropractic care focused on the craniocervical junction, the critical place where your skull meets the top of your neck. Almost all of the signals between your brain and body pass through this junction, so a small misalignment here can disrupt that communication and create chronic pain and dysfunction.
Through specific measurements and a gentle, precise correction (no twisting, cracking, or popping), NUCCA restores alignment at this junction. The result is improved muscle balance, blood flow, and fluid flow to the brain, setting your body's own ability to heal back in motion.

Getting started
Beginning NUCCA care is a clear, measured process. Here's how your care unfolds, from your first consultation to lasting stabilization.
We review your history and perform a postural exam to determine whether you're a candidate for NUCCA care. If you are, precise 3D imaging of the craniocervical junction shows us exactly where, and how, to correct.
Your first correction visit lasts about 1–3 hours. After reviewing your imaging together, Dr. Radwanski performs a gentle, precise correction, and post-treatment imaging confirms your body is responding exactly as expected.
Each visit builds on the last, like making a 'key' that unlocks your misalignment, so future visits are simple and you always know what to expect.
As your correction holds, we see you less and less. The goal is lasting alignment so your body can keep functioning and healing at its best.
